As part of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Maldives National University and the University of Johannesburg, a Research Workshop was held for staff of MNU on the 11th of December, 2025. 

Hosted by the MNU Business School and conducted by Professors Daniel and Natanya Meyer of the University Johannesburg, the workshop was a highly productive discourse on the practical steps in successful publication of research work, and areas of focus in research work.

Due to strong engagement and positive feedback from participants of the initial workshop, a follow-up session was held on the 15th. This session led to more focused and interactive discussions between the Professors and the participants, underscoring the collaborative spirit of both institutions and the shared commitment to furthering excellence in research work.
