Mariyam Nafeesa Moosa began her career in government service on April 28, 1985, as the Budget Secretary for the Ministry of Fisheries and Agriculture. Since 2015, she has been serving as the Senior Administrative Officer in the Faculty of Engineering Science and Technology.
She completed the Leadership Training Course in 2001 and Arabic Diploma Course in 2010. Prior to that she did a Quran Teacher Course and Qari Course in 1994. She also took part in a variety of training and short courses offered by the MNU and other organizations
