National Health Research Council ethical approval session 2025

The “Navigating National Health Research Council Ethical Approval: A Guide for Prospective Researchers” session was held on 14 October 2025 at Uduvilla, Dharumavantha Hospital, as part of the Oevaru 2026 information-session series. It was designed to help prospective researchers understand the NHRC ethical approval process, including eligibility requirements, required proposal formats, and how research proposals are reviewed and evaluated. The session was delivered by the NHRC Secretariat.

The session strengthened participants’ understanding of research ethics and the National Health Research Council ethical approval process. It improved awareness of proposal requirements, ethical responsibilities, and research governance, helping prospective researchers prepare stronger and more compliant research applications.
