29th East Asia Forum of Nursing Scholars (EAFONS)

The 29th East Asia Forum of Nursing Scholars (EAFONS) was successfully held from 26–28 February 2026 at the National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore.

During the conference, Dr. Asiya Ibrahim presented her research paper titled:

“Navigating Opportunities and Challenges: A Qualitative Study of the Experiences of Male Nurses in the Maldives.”

The conference was attended by Dr. Asiya Ibrahim and Dr. Salma Hassan.

Participation in the 29th East Asia Forum of Nursing Scholars (EAFONS) reflects our continued commitment to advancing nursing research, promoting evidence-based practice, and strengthening international academic collaboration.

Participation strengthened exposure to current regional nursing research, scholarly exchange and professional networks. The knowledge and connections gained can inform teaching, research development and evidence-based nursing practice at the School of Nursing.
