Aishath Nashydha joined The Maldives National University as a Laboratory Technologist at the Faculty of Engineering, Science and Technology (FEST) from September 2018 to March 2024. In January 2026, she rejoined the University, where she continues to contribute to the effective management and operation of laboratory facilities and support academic and practical activities.
During her previous tenure at the University and in her current role, Nashydha has been responsible for preparing laboratory equipment, chemicals, and solutions for practical sessions and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of laboratory activities. Her responsibilities include managing laboratory inventory and supply orders, maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment, and supporting the development and implementation of laboratory protocols and standard operating procedures. She also coordinates day-to-day laboratory operations, including practical class schedules, laboratory supplies, and equipment maintenance.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Bio-Chemistry, Genetics and Bio-Technology from Bangalore University, India, completed in 2015.
