Abdulla Muiz Fuad is a Full-Time Associate Lecturer at MNU Business School, teaching Marketing and Business Strategy. He holds an MSc in Global Marketing Management and a BSc in Tourism Management, both from Asia Pacific University, Kuala Lumpur.
Before moving into academia, Muiz spent over a decade working in the Maldivian tourism and business sectors, most notably as Marketing Manager at Reethi Beach Resort, where he ran influencer programmes and multi-market content strategy across Germany, Italy, Russia, and China. He also managed SME HUB under the Business Centre Corporation, overseeing an incubation model for 23 small businesses to help them grow and adapt to the Maldivian consumer market.
With a keen interest in digital marketing, Muiz brings real industry experience into the classroom, blending it with today’s AI-driven marketing tools to give students the practical, up-to-date knowledge employers actually expect from graduates. He is currently developing a research agenda exploring AI adoption across the Maldives tourism ecosystem, building on his published work in Tourism and Hospitality Research (Sage, 2021).
