Mr. Felix Renald Selvaraj is a Lecturer in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences, at the Maldives National University (MNU), where he has been teaching undergraduate physiotherapy students for the past four years. He holds a Master of Physiotherapy in Neurology from PSG College of Physiotherapy, affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, where he graduated as the University Topper. He also holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from White Memorial College of Physiotherapy, is a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist, and has Postgraduate Diplomas in Obesity and Weight Management and Gym and Fitness Instruction. He is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education.
With over 10 years of clinical experience, including 8 years at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), Maldives, Mr. Felix has extensive experience in musculoskeletal and neurological physiotherapy, post-operative rehabilitation, and intensive care physiotherapy, with a particular specialization in adult neurological rehabilitation. In addition to teaching, he supervises undergraduate physiotherapy research projects, provides clinical supervision for internship students, conducts mentorship training, and has served as a batch coordinator. He has authored a peer-reviewed publication and is committed to advancing competency-based physiotherapy education, evidence-based practice, and rehabilitation services through excellence in teaching, research, clinical education, leadership, and professional development.
