Ms. Fathimath Shamna has been a Senior Laboratory Technician at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Maldives National University since 2021. She oversees physiotherapy, electrotherapy, psychology, and clinical procedure laboratories. She graduated with a Bachelor of Primary Health Care from Maldives National University in 2020, and she holds a license to practice primary health care. She previously completed Certificate III in Information Technology by Center for Information Technology Management. She also gained experience in administrative and human resources tasks while working at Personal Computers as an Admin and HR officer.

Shamna has taken part in further training relevant to her profession. She has completed Psychological First Aid Training by Maldivian Red Crescent. She has also completed Fire and Rescue Training at MNU.
