Ms. Mariyam Shadhiya has been serving as a Laboratory Technologist at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Maldives National University since May 2019. She holds a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences from the Maldives National University. 

Before joining MNU, she worked as a medical laboratory technologist in Alif Dhaal Atoll Hospital from 2006 to 2010. She has experience in managing and directing laboratories along with health care facilities in private sector.
