MNU Research Grant Awarding Ceremony

MNU Research Grant Awarding Ceremony was held today at The Maldives National University. The opportunity to apply for the grant was open to staff who wanted to carry out research projects and for the higher degree students who wanted to undertake a research project.

Grants were awarded to the following applicants to implement their research projects:

Dr. Sheeza Ali: The Relationship Between Iron Deficiency and Thyroid Function in the Maldives

Dr. Fazeela Waheed: Valuing health-related quality of life: An EQ-5D-5L value set for the Maldives

Dr. Raheema Abdul Raheem: Effectiveness of Infecting Aedes Aegypti Mosquitoes with strains of Wolbachia in Reducing the Transmission of Dengue Virus

Rifaath Hassan: Ethnobotanical and Morphological study of Taro in Southern Atolls, Maldives

Mohamed Riyaz: މަލްޓިގްރޭޑް ޓީޗިންގ: ރާއްޖޭގައި ތަންފީޒު ކުރެވޭގޮތާއި ދިމާވާ ގޮންޖެހުން

Aminath Zubair: Understanding the Implementation of Playschool-based approaches with the integration of National Curriculum Framework (NCF)

Niuma Mohamed: Use of videos in Teaching and Learning: An action Research on how video pedagogy is implemented at the Maldives National University
