The Maldives National University opens a book of condolence for the late Dr. Abdul Majeed Abdul Bari

The Maldives National University has opened a book of condolence for the late Dr. Abdul Majeed Abdul Bari, Senior Lecturer of Faculty of Law and Islamic Studies.

Dr. Abdul Majeed Abdul Bari joined The Maldives National University on 22nd March 2012. He was the Head of the Department of Qadhau at our Faculty of Law and Islamic Studies. Dr. Abdul Majeed was actively involved in important committees of the University. He was an admirable lecturer, dearly loved by colleagues and students.

Our Chancellor Dr. Mohamed Latheef and Vice Chancellor Dr. Ali Fawaz Shareef along with some of the members of our senior management team signed the condolence book today.

Students, staff, alumni and the public are invited to share their condolences. The condolence book will be open every day till 31st May 2018 from 10:00 am to 2 pm, except for Friday. The book is kept at MNU Central Administration (Reception), Rahdhebai Hingun.

We pray that the Almighty Allah grant eternal blessings for the late Dr. Abdul Majeed Abdul Bari’s soul, and give patience and strength to his family at this time of bereavement.
