Resilient Reefs for Maldives Seminar Session 2: Professor Callum Roberts
Callum Roberts, is a world renowned marine conservation scientist who believes that you can have your fish and eat them too! He was chief scientific advisor for the BBC television’s flagship series Blue Planet II.
For the last 30 years he has used science to make the case for stronger protection of marine life both in the UK and internationally.
In his first public talk in the Maldives, Callum will explain how the oceans have changed over time and discuss future predictions. Speaking from more than 30 years of experience working in countries across the world Callum will also present conservation solutions for the Maldives that will benefit the nature, the economy and the Maldivian people.
Join this seminar on Monday, 8th April 2019 from 4PM to 5PM at MNU Central Auditorium. The seminar is open to MNU students and the general public. The seminar series is supported by Blue Marine Foundation and Maldives Underwater Initiative.
