At a short ceremony held today in the Central Administrative Office, contracts of appointment were signed with the newly selected deans, heads of centres and the registrar. The positions carry a term of four years with an evaluation at the end of two years. The appointments become effective from 1st March 2012. In the ceremony, the Vice Chancellor, Dr Hassan Hameed,    thanked the former Heads of the Faculty of Education and the Centre for Maritime Studies, Messrs Abdulla Luthufee and Asim Abdul Sattar for their assiduous service to the Divisions during their terms of office.
