Double ‘A’ Grade for FHTS
The Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Studies has been awarded an ‘A’ grade for the BTEC National Diploma
Travel and Tourism Program and the BTEC National Diploma in Hospitality program by the EDEXCEL External Verifier. This is the second time for this year that BTEC ND in Travel and Tourism Program has received an ‘A’ grade in external verification.
The EDEXCEL External Verification is conducted annually and every visit consists of an evaluation of all the assignment briefs, the marked assessments of all the modules and a feedback session with a selected number of students from every BTEC Course conducted by the Faculty.
According to the External Verifier Mr. Mike Daniels, this is the first time he has awarded a double ‘A’ grade to any Center. This is a remarkable achievement and at the same time the Faculty realizes that it will be an immense responsibility to maintain this success in the future.
